Durational Scale of Behaviour Three Times

As part of “You better keep them creative” at Casa Fugaz, an independent video work exhibition: Durational scale of behaviour three times is an extension of thoughts gathered from looped routines lived during the pandemic of COVID-19.

Interested on the routinary of the everyday, the work explores through repetition and choreography some aspects of the surreality in the mind behind the lockdown faced during the pandemic. The video is performed by the artist and his two brothers in the north of Peru, a secluded deserted site of the country where they were able to spend sometime of the lockdown. Some elements such as the horizon and the desolation, plus the repetition of gestures on three similar bodies and looped time frame forward and backwards were interesting research tools to visually explore some of the felt experiences.
